Restoration Road Map
The Natural Resource Damage Program (NRDP) has issued a Draft Conceptual Framework for an Upper Clark Fork River Basin Restoration Priorities Road Map (PDF). This document outlines the proposed conceptual framework for how the Upper Clark Fork River Basin (UCFRB) Restoration Fund would be prioritized via earmarking after settlement of the natural resource damage litigation. An executive summary (PDF) is also available.
A 60-day public comment period will run from June 12, 2008 through August 15, 2008. A series of public hearings will be held throughout the Basin. These public hearings will provide a short informational session followed by formal public comment. The hearings will be held at the following locations:
- Butte – June 19, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. Butte War Bonnet Inn, 2100 Cornell Avenue, Butte
- Missoula – June 24, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. Bonner Middle School Community Room
- Anaconda – June 26, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. Hearst Free Library 2nd Floor, 401 Main Street, Anaconda
- Deer Lodge – June 30, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. Deer Lodge Community Center, 146 Cottonwood, Deer Lodge
