HELENA – Attorney General Mike McGrath announced this week that Chris Christensen has joined the staff of the Department of Justice Prosecution Services Bureau as a workers' compensation fraud prosecutor.
Christensen was Pondera County Attorney from 1995 through November of this year. Prior to that, he was a public defender in Flathead County from 1985 to 1993. He worked in private practice in Conrad from 1981 to 1985 and from 1993 to 1995.
"I am please to have a prosecutor with Chris' background on our staff," McGrath said. "He will enhance the department's efforts against white-collar crime."
Christensen holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics, business administration and economics from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, and he earned his law degree from the University of Montana. He will make $45,760 annually in his new job.
